Charming luxurious bespoke shepherds hut with wood burner perfect for cosy nights in. Situated in a peaceful tranquil setting and benefits from magnificent sea and countryside views.

This charming shepherds hut is set in the grounds of a former church, on the edge of the sleepy hamlet of Kyloe. Countryside walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep, while the Northumberland Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is only three miles from the property. Beal is the closest coastal spot, offering road access at low tide to the Holy island of Lindisfarne. Here you can explore the famous priory and castle, steeped in history, or look out for wildlife in the form of birds and seals. Further along the coast, you’ll find beautiful sandy beaches and popular towns such as Seahouses and Bamburgh, also home to an impressive castle. For a taste of the countryside, both the Cheviot Hills and Northumberland National Park lie within easy reach, perfect for long hikes and bike rides.

A private arched pathway lined with trees leads you to the shepherds hut, reached via a small flight of stairs, taking you to a small decking area and the entrance to the hut. Inside, you’ll find a cute and cosy living space perfect for a luxurious and romantic glamping getaway. To the left, you will find the snug and sleeping area, with a king-size bed – a testament to how well the hut maximises its space, a wall-mounted smart TV and DVD player, a radio and iPod dock, and plenty of storage. A small wooden dining table and chairs is found to the right of the snug, as well as the kitchen area. Although compact in size, it is well-equipped with an electric double hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and sink for washing up. Through the door you’ll find a completely private shower room with a shower and WC. With both an oil-fired plug-in heater and a wood burner, you’re guaranteed some warm and cosy nights in this shepherds hut during your holiday.

Step outside onto the decking for amazing views over to the countryside, the sea and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne beyond. A charcoal BBQ and a small seating area mean you can even enjoy a nice meal while soaking up the surroundings. Next door to the hut, made from the original pulpit from the church, is a storage room, perfect for boots and outdoor clothing. Additional covered secure bike storage is also available, and you can also find a log store with plenty of logs for the fire. Ample off-road parking is available right next to the shepherds hut.
