This bright and airy, family-friendly cottage is located in a secluded area on Front Street and has been finished to an incredibly high standard. It’s within easy reach of a host of attractions which will create a getaway to remember. The village of Bamburgh (within 100 metres) is home to pubs, shops, and restaurants, its coastal skyline dominated by Bamburgh Castle. Guests keen for a bracing walk will find one on the golden sands of Bamburgh Beach (0.5 miles) with the pretty fishing village of Seahouses (3 miles) accessible along this route. For equally resplendent historical surroundings, Alnwick, with its castle and cobblestone market square, is 17.5 miles away.

The two-storey cottage has an open-plan living area on the ground floor with comfortable seating around a wood burner, and a kitchen and dining area all within a few feet of one another. It’s a sociable space that’s the perfect setting for relaxing after busy days on the beach. Also on this floor are a cloakroom and utility room, both ideal storage spaces for outdoor clothing. On the first floor are two king-size bedrooms, each boasting en-suite shower rooms.

The outside of the property benefits from patio gardens at the front and the rear, both with garden furniture and a BBQ, the latter garden enjoying gated access to Front Street.

Bolthole is a 2 bed (both en-suite) in the Crewe courtyard right smack bang in the middle of Bamburgh village. Its gated and secure. There are three areas for sitting out, although was abit cold whilst we visited. It was just perfect for us. Its quiet. Its immaculately clean. owners were around whilst we were there and it was great to hear how tRead morehe cottages came into being, having once been part of the rear outbuilding at The Lord Crew Arms. We walked a lot most days. We ate at the ocean club and Lewis's fish and chips both in Seahouses. Excellent. The shops were all closed up as it was first week in January accept for Butchers and this is a must to visit and get yourself some Bamburgh Bangers - delicious. Hide

The Bolthole is in a wonderful location, only a few hundred yards from Bamburgh Castle, a magnificent sight when you step out of the cottage. This property is beautifully furnished with a very high standard of cleanliness; it also has the added bonus of secure, gated parking to the rear.

The Bolthole was a lovely property, very clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The two outside areas meant that we could follow the sun round when sitting outside. In the centre of Bamburgh, it was in an excellent position for visiting the area as well as being close to restaurants and village shops.

This was our second visit to The Bolthole, third coming up in October, so were obviously satisfied returning customers!! The location is perfect, close to local facilities (special mention to the Victoria Hotel) and the glorious beach, yet its very quiet. Two minor gripes.theres no long mirror and nowhere to hang anything in the bathroom.

The Bolthole is in a fantastic location, only a few hundred yards from Bamburgh Castle and a stone's throw from the best butcher's I have ever shopped at.
