Enjoy plenty of rustic character and an enclosed garden at this light and airy home away from home, where traditional charm meets contemporary comfort.

Step inside into a bright hallway leading to the heart of the cottage: a light-filled, open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area. Exposed wooden beams and a lofty ceiling sit above, while two plush sofas and a Smart TV provide a lovely setting to unwind after a day spent exploring. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, plus a Nespresso machine for a morning coffee. Gather around the dining table for four to enjoy leisurely breakfasts or intimate dinners. The spacious king-size bedroom promises restful nights with luxury linens, blackout blinds, and access to the garden via a glazed door. The bathroom is elegantly tiled in natural Travertine marble, featuring a bath with a shower attachment and a skylight that floods the space with light. Outside, the enclosed garden is a peaceful haven, with a lawn, shrubs, and a paved patio complete with a table and chairs for al fresco moments. Guests also benefit from private parking for one car in a covered carport.

Extremely well equipped cottage , great to have the option of car charging which we used. Enclosed garden was great for the dog and lovely to sit outside on a morning with a coffee . Love this location, quiet and relaxing but near to Bamburgh and ideally placed for exploring further afield.

Curlew Cottage is a really smart comfortable stone cottage in a good location just outside of Bamburgh village. It is extremely well equipped and the little garden was perfect for our two small dogs. Everything went like clockwork and we were very satisfied.

Very impressed with Coquet Cottages, plenty of attentive helpful accurate information. The property was exactly as described and just what we required. The only quibble I had was the sofa was too soft and low for my taste

We had a great week at this charming cottage. We liked the traditional style of it with lots of modern touches. It is very comfortable and spacious inside and out, with the addition of a dedicated parking space. The garden was a highlight, with the great weather meaning we made good use of the comfy garden chairs. The fact it was secure was just peRead morerfect for the dog. We loved the extra touches like the welcome pack, toiletries and dishwasher tabs, as well as the fact that the owner checked in by text the morning after we arrived. The location was good for visiting lots of places and only a mile from Bamburgh, which has plenty of places to eat and drink. It is worth noting that although this seems very walkable, it is a fairly busy road with no pavement and so we ended up taking the car more often than not if we were heading there. Hide

We recently stayed Curlew Cottage for our first visit to the Northumberland coast and we were not disappointed. The accommodation is first class and its location peaceful. There is easy access to local villages and the coast and it is very easy to find a local restaurant or pub for your lunchtime or evening meals. The parking space and enclosed garRead moreden of Curlew Cottage were also an asset, with the former taking the stress out of finding somewhere to park for the night after a long day out. All in all a fantastic location to explore the Northumberland Coast. Hide
