This is the ultimate getaway for families looking to uncover the magical Northumberland coastline.

End a busy day by heading into the contemporary kitchen/diner to refuel hungry tummies with exciting local flavours and share stories of the day’s adventures seated around the dining table. As the evening draws in, follow the warmth of the roaring wood burner-effect electric fire into the homely lounge to hunker down on the plush sofas and catch up with your favourite programme on the Smart TV. Upstairs, you’ll find a king-size bedroom featuring a TV and far-reaching views, plus a twin bedroom with an optional single bed to accommodate an additional guest on request. If you’ve still got plenty of energy left, let off some steam in the games room or soak up the sound of birdsong by dining alfresco on the patio in the enclosed lawned garden.

The idyllic hamlet of Glororum is nestled 1.5 miles from the windswept shores of Bamburgh Beach, in the shadow of the iconic Bamburgh Castle; spend hours building sandcastles or paddling the tide. Keen outdoor explorers can stroll across the paved, tidal causeway to Holy Island to spot puffins and seals, wander the spiritual haven of St Cuthbert’s Cave, or take a step back in time perusing the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Those who love life on the water can dive into various water sports from Beadnell Bay or enjoy a boat trip to the Farne Islands from the harbourside village of Seahouses.

The Coach House was the perfect choice. It has been a wonderful place to stay - we all felt cosy and at home the moment we put our bags down. Its beautiful, in great surroundings and has pretty much everything you need - we all loved the games room too :)

Very nice property, very comfortable and clean. Having a toddler with us, the separate games room was brilliant and had plenty to keep little hands entertained. The property had a travel cot, stair gate and highchair along with plenty of child friendly crockery. These added extras really made our stay. Location was great, very quiet. Not normally one for reviews but the house was beautiful. The inside was lovely, clean, spacious and light. The games room was great for the kids and me and my husband had some fun playing table tennis when we could remove the kids from the table. We'd like to thank you for sharing your amazing house and we look forward to staying here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Coach House. As a family with a three year old and an 18 month old, it had everything we needed and the games room was such a winner. Location-wise, it's was ideal: Bamburgh castle on your doorstep and only a 10 minute drive to Seahouses. The bed was so comfortable and we slept amazingly. Perfectly located, well equipped cottage for our multigenerational family holiday. Everything has been thought out carefully including the well equipped kitchen and fantastic games room (enjoyed by the adults as well as the toddler with us). Plenty of parking on site which is important in this part of Northumberland and a lovely lawn and patio areaRead more where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner. The toddler loved walking out of the sitting room patio doors across the lawn and into the kitchen, a perfect safe place for him to explore and enjoy. The restaurants and facilities of Bamburgh are a few minutes drive away. Hide
