The cottage is perfectly placed for just walking out of the door into the village of lovely bamburgh . Lots of noise from the fans and outside fridge fans from the hotel but it did go quiet after midnight. No people noise from the pubs. No complaints about the actual cottage itself. Enjoyed my holiday.

Parking is a bit precarious as other bays were blocking the way most days, and deliveries to the hotel and butchers shop meant we had to wait until deliveries were complete on quite a few days. The inter- connecting door is not that sound proof. I saw other posts about it and thought it would be ok, but there was quite a bit of noise coming from thRead moree front house. Hide

We enjoyed our stay very much at Greenleaf. The location is excellent and the garden was a real bonus. The only negatives for us were that there is no sound proofing between Greenleaf and the adjoining house, despite there being a notice to advise us that this was the case and also the fact that laundry facilities are shared between the 2 houses.
