Greenleaf is a comfortable two bedroom cottage located at the rear of the adjoining property Greenhouse. It is accessed via a side road next to the Victoria Hotel and has its own parking space which is suitable for a large car. We had no noise problems from the hotel and it was generally quiet. Cottage was comfortable and in a great position very close to the pubs and restaurants in Bamburgh as well as the butchers and deli. Easy walk to the beach and castle . Hide

This is an outstanding cottage, comfortable and very clean. Within a short walking distance to the amazing beach, dunes, and castle. Great eateries in Bamburgh, just around the corner from this cottage. Ideal stay if you enjoy walking, and dog friendly too ! Would highly recommend.

The cottage is in a great location and would be comfortable for visitors with no dogs as they are not allowed upstairs, which was not communicated to us at any time, found out when we arrived. It is very dark and needed the lights on all the time if in. The floorboards creak terribly and do keep people awake, and there is a fair bit of mould in tRead morehe upstairs hall, main bedroom and around the shower. Someone also just walks in to move bins, not very safe if my dog was in the garden at the time, we were not told someone would just come in as it asks in the info to please put bins out. Overall nice but as I had to sleep downstairs on the sofa because I had a dog, I would not stay again Hide

This cottage is in a lovely position only minutes from beach and castle. 3 lovely watering holes on Front Street plus a local butchers and a deli. Inside the cottage was decorated to a high standard with a clever use of mirrors to make the cottage look more spacious and light.

The property was clean and comfortable. The location was central to the village, so easy access to facilities. The entrance to the property was around the back which I knew but it was behind the Victoria Hotel and wasn't the nicest of environment's for accessing a property. The property information did not say that there was just one window in the living room with opaque glass, as outside the window there was the outside area of another property. There wasRead more one little window you could open but basically it was quite dark and smelt quite 'stale' in there. Unfortunately my daughter had wanted to do her revision in that room for her exams after half term, but it was so dark and unleasant that she couldn't study there. In the end we came home early so she could do some revision at home. I do think that this type of arrangement should have been explicit in the property information as it was quite unpleasant and not expected. I feel therfore that it was not good value for money having not spent a whole week there because of the low quality of that downstairs accommodation. Hide
