Everything about the cottage was amazing. We loved being in the centre of Bamburgh with the view over the Castle and good choices of places to eat. We particularly liked The Victoria and Lord Crewe. This is the third time we have stayed at Castleside - the others a number of years ago. We were pleased that the standards haven't dropped - altogether a fantastic place to stay with unsurpassed view of the castle. This year we brought our castle-mad grandson who loved the place - especially the view! Plenty of castles for us to explore around hereRead more. Hide

Fell in love with Bamburgh on first visit in 1963 and have revisited many time since. Never stayed in more comfortable accommodation. Castleside had everything for us to make our holiday special. Of course the view of the castle from the lounge is most impressive but the sunrise over the castle is worth getting up for!

Spacious, well fitted out, comfortable. Large kitchen with everything you would need. Fridge freezer was large enough to stock up with food and booze. Car parking was great, secure and roomy. We were minutes from food and drinks with a very good choice of venues.
