Fantastic location, great for dogs and walking. Very close to sand dunes and beaches. Close to many cafes (Rocking Horse cafe, v dog friendly) in particular, and pubs. The furniture and beds however, were very uncomfortable which let the property down.

Lovely property, well equipped and nice seeing the horses every morning and the peacocks roaming around. The coastline is stunning, some great walks and nice theres a couple of pubs in walking distance. Only used our car twice in a week as so much to see around this area.

Cannot fault the holiday cottage, location was great, the cottage had everything in that we needed and a great decking area so we could watch the horses every day. We stayed in a dog friendly cottage and with a short walk to a pristine beach, the cottage is ideally placed to explore the local area. Ive already recommended to my friends and family. Fabulous location, weve stayed many times and will return again. Beach so close and Joiners Arm a 10/15 minutes walk (take a head torch for walk home after dinner). Love having so many animals about and lucky enough to border one of the horse fields, better than telly. Highly recommend.

Excellent location 5 minutes walk to a beautiful sandy peaceful beach ideal for dog owners. Location within short ride to Craster Bamburgh Seahouses etc to further explore the Northumberland coast. Overall I would recommend to anyone wanting a chill out vacation. Only downside was poor Wi-Fi connection which will be down to the exact location.

The lodge was in the perfect location and well maintained, beds and settees hard and the beds could do with a topper. This is a small detail when youre on the beach within 5 minutes and the beach is stunning with fabulous walks in all directions

A great property with all you need for your stay. Perfect location for Seahouses, Bamburgh, Alnwick and Beadnell with a lovely beach a 5-10 minute walk from the lodge. A nice touch with the Prosecco in the fridge and a milk so we could make a cuppa on arrival.
