Framed by high ceilings with exposed beams, this space comprises a well-equipped kitchen for food prep and a dining table comfortably seating all six of your party. For downtime, the lounge area has plenty of comfortable seating in which to recline and watch the TV, and there is also a small, decked area outside to soak up rays. Completing the picture inside are three bathrooms and three bedrooms, ensuring everyone can enjoy privacy and comfort.

With the bonus of a shared outdoor play area and an indoor games room with a pool table, table football and Sky TV with Sky Sports, both sunny and rainy days will be well catered for here. For film buffs, you may recognise Alnwick’s castle (10 miles) for its starring role in the much-loved Harry Potter films. For wildlife-spotting opportunities, take a boat trip from Seahouses (7.5 miles) to the Farne Islands (home to many seals and puffins) or stay local and wander around the village’s Newton Pool Nature Reserve.

The cottage is in a good location for beach, walks and a local pub. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well provided for in terms of utensils and electrical goods. It is a lovely, well presented cottage with plenty of space. We would like to visit again in the near future.

We loved everything about the cottage - it's location and it's facilities. We visited in November and it was really warm and cosy when we arrived. The lounge area is spacious and the well-stocked kitchen had everything we needed and more. Really comfortable beds too.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and very comfortable, it was also well placed for all the places we wanted to visit - Lindisfarne, the Farne Islands, Cragside, Belsay, Tynemouth. A lovely cottage in an amazing location. We probably had the worse weather, wind and rain but knowing you could come back to warmth and a hot shower was great. The beach is really close , and the walks really do start from it . So many activities to do close by that I would come back again.
