Self-catering accommodation in Northumberland National Park
Northumberland National Park is a protected green space which has been awarded as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within the park, you will find Kielder Water and Forest Park, which is absolutely fantastic for cycling or walking and offers amazing scenery. It also has the least light pollution in England making it the number one area for ‘Dark Skies’. If you love stargazing, Kielder Observatory cannot be missed! Not only can you go for stargazing sessions, but occasionally we are lucky enough to be graced with the Northern Lights, so if you are fortunate enough to witness the Aurora Borealis during your visit, then you will have memories lasting for a lifetime!
At the southernmost part of the Northumberland National Park you will find Hadrian’s Wall, stretching coast to coast from Newcastle to Carlisle, which was even the inspiration for the great wall in George RR Martin’s books ‘Game of Thrones’.
Our cottages in Northumberland National Park offer a wide choice of properties for all types of people. Don’t forget to bring the whole family and the dog too!
