For an easy, sundowner meal dine alfresco before dipping in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly in hand. Steal away for a moment alone in the snug or take part in fun games nights on the pool table upstairs. Five of the seven beautiful bedrooms reside on the first floor, with the first two rooms located on the ground floor. Each room is treated to its own en-suite so there is no need to queue to freshen up in the mornings or after adventures. Rise and shine and enjoy spending time in the garden before you head out for the day. There is off-road parking and an electric car charging point.
Make the 9-mile journey to the vibrant market town of Hexham where you can dine out or enjoy a gentle morning strolling the streets past eclectic independent shops and galleries. Head to Cawfields Quarry (15.5 miles) where you can find remains of Hadrian’s Wall, a great place from which to start a walk steeped in history.
