A great little cottage. Weather wasnt great but a washing machine and dryer helped after a couple of walks in the rain. Plenty to do.

Union Cottage was all we could have hoped for, very well presented and had all that we needed for a great week away from home. The cottage was very central for all local amenities and just being near the sea was a must for us!! Thank you and hopefully we will visit again in the future.

The cottage is amazing. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. There is a space to park and our dog can come too. They have thought of everything you may need whilst there. Excellent.

Seahouses is a fantastic place to stay and this cottage is ideally situated to enjoy the area. Boat trips on the doorstep and wonderful walks along the beach from the door. The cottage had everything we needed and more. The only slight niggle was the parking. It is a bonus having reserved parking but it was so tight. We were lucky that the people iRead moren the cottage next door had decided to leave their car in the car park, if not we might have been forced to do the same. Hide

If you’re looking for a seaside holiday with a difference, visit Northumberland – a region brimming with beautiful golden, sandy beaches, rolling hills, craggy moorland, bustling market towns and fishing villages, and more castles than in any other county in England.

Situated in the North East of England, this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty boasts no less than 39 miles of unspoilt coastline to explore and a calendar packed with exhilarating water sports options. To indulge in a spot of surfing, kayaking or powerboating, take a trip to one of the many breath-taking Northumberland beaches - where dogs love a good walk and fresh local seafood is never far away.

Home to the awe-inspiring Cheviot Hills and the historical Hadrian’s Wall, the Northumberland National Park is renowned for its open spaces, award-winning Dark Skies and stunning rural backdrops - and is the least populated national park in Britain. Offering access to challenging hikes, horse-riding, rock-climbing and a multitude of other action-packed activities, the park is one of the region’s greatest draws.

There is a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted, whether you take a boat ride to the Farne Islands to admire the colony of Atlantic grey seals and puffins, or explore the Kielder Water and Forest Park, home to magnificent ospreys.
