This modern property is a welcoming home-from-home just a stone’s throw from the local shops and eateries.

Lindisfarne is a beautifully presented, terraced cottage located in the popular old quarter of Seahouses. The picturesque harbour, village amenities, shops, restaurants, bars and local attractions are just a short walk from the front door and from here, you are within easy, walking distance of the lovely, sandy beach.

The cottage has spacious living accommodation for up to 5 people with plenty of modern facilities and lovely touches to help make your stay both enjoyable and relaxing. Lindisfarne is a welcoming and relaxing family holiday base to come home to after your days out exploring the area.

In the village there are a wide range of amenities including some excellent restaurants, friendly bars, a variety of food shops including a great Co-op and various butchers, bakers and candlestick makers - plus craft and souvenir shops. Take a boat trip to The Farne Islands to see the seals and puffins and drive across the causeway to visit the Holy island of Lindisfarne after which the cottage is named.

There are numerous coastal paths and walks you can enjoy while staying at Lindisfarne. Try the walk along the coastal path to Bamburgh with its imposing castle set high above the golden, sandy beach and a beautiful village with more fantastic eateries and independent shops to explore and in the other direction, you reach beautiful Beadnell Bay and its crescent shaped beach where you can picnic in the dunes watching the water sports and kite flying or, take a nice beach stroll to blow away any cobwebs.

There is allocated parking for one car in the shared courtyard.

Please note, that for larger groups, this cottage can be booked alongside other similar cottages.

This cottage accepts one well behaved dog.

Bed linen, towels, heating and hot water are included.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Lindisfarne was one of the best cottages we have stayed in. It was well equipped and the location was great for the town and the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable and the blackout blinds were a good touch. The welcome gift of wine and chocolate biscuits were appreciated and enjoyed. Lots of books, DVDs and CDs as well as a selection of gamRead morees. The owners have thought of everything and I look forward to returning. Hide

Lindisfarne Cottage was conveniently placed for the town and harbour. It was warm and comfortable. There was no storage facilities for our bikes but, having said that, we would not expect them in the location of the cottage. Shower was good, beds were comfortable and the welcome pack that included Prosecco and Shortbread was much appreciated. We enRead morejoyed cycling around the area and meals out that were particularly enjoyed were at the Old Ship Inn and the Bamburgh Castle, both in Seahouses, and the teas at the Copper Kettle in Bamburgh. We love Northumberland, our 3rd visit and this was our 2nd stay in Seahouses. Lindisfarne was well presented and a lovely touch of a small welcome hamper and pack. The cottage is situated 2 mins from the harbour and centre of Seahouses and a short walk to the gorgeous Nothumbrian beaches. A charming very comfortable cottage, would definitely book again. Plenty of space with everything catered for. Lindisfarne is a beautiful cottage, in a peaceful location just a moments walk from the beach, sea, clifftops and village. It is ideal for adults and children.

Lindisfarne cottage was very comfortable and had everything you needed. We visited Berwick on Tweed plenty of there was a musical festival even the young ones enjoyed it. Bamburgh Castle was very busy and interesting.

Seahouses is a lovely relaxing place within easy distance of many tourist attractions and a lovely welcoming atmosphere the cottage we stayed at suited our needs and was in a short walk of pubs hotels and the main shopping area without the need to use the car there is also access to the beach and walking areas

Lindisfarne was a perfect cottage for my wife and I plus our dog to stay in. It is in the perfect place, quiet at night but within easy walking distance of local pubs and other amenities. Lovely beaches and plenty of castles to visit. The cottage is the perfect size for the two of us and would still be plenty of room for four.
