For an Autumn break the cottage was very warm. It is in a great location, very private, surrounded by fields but close to the beach and village centre. Excellent base for exploring Northumberland. Boat trip to Holy Island/Farne Island was excellent. Indian restaurant in Seahouses was excellent and prices were very good. The 2 restaurants in Beadnell village were overpriced for pub food.

Offering access to challenging hikes, horse-riding, rock-climbing and a multitude of other action-packed activities, the park is one of the region’s greatest draws.

There is a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted, whether you take a boat ride to the Farne Islands to admire the colony of Atlantic grey seals and puffins, or explore the Kielder Water and Forest Park, home to magnificent ospreys.
