In the heart of the friendly port of Amble, this spacious seaside property makes a wonderful holiday home for eight guests. Providing cosy, fresh and welcoming accommodation for families and friends, this charming cottage is ideally positioned close to the thriving harbour and a pretty beach. Decorated with a colourful and vibrant nautical theme throughout, this inviting retreat is a wonderful base for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers discovering this stunning part of Northumberland.

The stylish kitchen/diner is kitted out with a range of equipment including a Smart TV and a sociable dining table, providing a wonderful space to cook and share a fabulous family meal. The ground floor also has an attractive king-size bedroom with an en-suite Jack and Jill shower room. The first floor features the colourful and cheerful lounge. With oak flooring, dual aspect windows with sea views, and a lovely feature fireplace, this is a great space to curl up in front of the wood burner with a movie on the Smart TV. This floor also has a delightful twin bedroom and a Jack and Jill shower room. On the second floor, a pretty twin room and a king-size room with a Smart TV and sea views share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a free-standing roll-top bath and separate shower. Outside, the enclosed and gravelled back garden is a suntrap in the afternoon, with plenty of outdoor furniture.

Amble offers a great choice of cafes, pubs and restaurants, many serving locally caught produce. The town has a bustling harbour and pier, with plenty of arts and crafts pods by the marina. Local attractions include Warkworth Castle (2 miles), Northumberland Country Zoo (11.5 miles) and Alnwick Castle (9.5 miles), or you can take a boat trip out to circle Coquet Island with its colonies of birds and seals.

We returned for a second holiday at Amble Staithes cottage and we had a wonderful time. The cottage is beautiful with so much character & modern and spacious & fully equipped to ensure that everything is available and the location is facing Amble Harbour which is so interesting. There are plenty of walks and activities and The Harbour Inn and La FaRead moremaglia Italian restaurant are excellent & just minutes from the cottage. We are looking forward to returning to the cottage hopefully later this year. Hide

Wow is all I can say. From.the moment we arrived..greeted by Linda, and on entering the cottage i was blown away by The fabulous hallway..it really does make a hit. Beautifully furnished and decorated, this cottage really was something else . Loved the bathrooms too, and a relaxing dip in that bathtub was fabulous. We all loved our holiday here. LoRead morecation is excellent. Close to pub, good food, and opposite the harbour, where you can watch the goings on from the upstairs lounge. 10/10 !! Hide

Lovely, clean well equipped and warm cottage in a really good location over the road from Amble harbour and all the shops and restaurants. 3 bathrooms so good for more than one family and plenty of hot water. The cottage was well furnished with bright seaside decor, we appreciated the welcome treats. You dont need to use the car if you dont want toRead more as shops, pubs and restaurants are nearby and you can walk to beaches and rock pools.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very well equipped, especially the kitchen! All the beds are comfortable. It is perfect for large families who can enjoy all the space and having three showers was great. Generous welcome pack, especially Lindas home made cake.

We stayed at Amble Staithes and we had a wonderful few days. The cottage is like a tardis. From the outside it looks quite compact but as soon as the door is opened it is so interesting with lots of different rooms and a really attractive garden, all presented beautifully. A really comfortable and spacious house in a great location directly opposite the small harbour - a hive of activity at weekends with the market. Plenty of places to eat out in different price ranges at easy walking distance, with the pier opposite to walk down afterwards to see the stars. The cottage was lovely. We had everything we needed. We were welcomed with a cake and wine when we arrived. All amenities were close by. Sorrounded by nice places to eat. We loved Amble, and also the cottage.

This is a really lovely holiday home. Its in a great position with great views from the lounge window. We loved the style of the house with the nautical theme, all the gorgeous paintings, and we found it warm and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend the property and would stay again.

This is an amazing house in the perfect location. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas are all very comfortable and finished to a really high standard. The kitchen was one of the best equipped Ive stayed in with many thoughtful touches including an excellent cookbook library. This is a lovely, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped house in a very good location. The host and the caretaker were pleasant and helpful. Our stay was over Christmas and the Christmas tree decorated and lit for our arrival was a very welcoming touch which we did not expect.. A beautiful home in the perfect location. Amble has everything you could need for a holiday at the coast and this house is in the perfect position! Everything is literally on your doorstep! This is a very comfortable cottage in a lovely location. There is ample space for 8 people and it is a beautifully presented cottage. The location is right by the sea and alongside both walks and cycle routes. As we are walkers and cyclists, this was superb for us.

Lovely well appointed house that suited the group well - teens to eighties. The ever changing views from the house are beautiful. We enjoyed our week in this comfortable home. Lots of great restaurants and amenities working walking distance.

Enjoyed a lovely week at this fabulous house modernised to a really high standard, and located opposite the beautiful harbour, with fantastic sea views, with free on road parking outside. Great bathrooms and generous rooms with full size beds that are really comfortable. Loved Amble , which is well served by shops, bars restaurants etc all within wRead morealking distance. A lovely cottage in an ideal location, close to all of the great amenities that Amble has to offer. The cottage is very well equipped and furnished and despite being located in a busy location it was very quiet on an evening.

The house is in a great location opposite the harbour with lovely sea views from the first floor lounge. It is well equipped for up to 8 people with 3 bathrooms and is very comfortable.

Spacious comfortable well equipped house with quality fittings and fixtures, and very clean. Some nice extra touches eg washing line, books and games. Lovely views over the harbour from the windows especially with the sitting room being upstairs. So close to the harbour and town centre, everything within 5 minutes walk. We loved the fishing boats, Read morethe rock pools, the playground, the beaches, and particularly the lobster hatchery and Spurrellis ice cream. The house suited our family well. Hide

The location was lovely with the sea over the road and shops and eating places near by. The lady next door was helpful and very kindly bought me a lovely plant when she discovered it was my birthday.
