The cottage was clean and well equipped and welcoming. It is well located for shops, the beach and was only a short drive to the surrounding area of the coast.

There were a few issues with the overall standard of the property both internally and externally which were raised with the holiday company we booked through as we did not receive a reply from the property manager. We hope these issues are addressed for future guests as the properties were comfortable and in a lovely location.

A lovely little cottage with modern facilities and a handy little 'paddock' area to take our dog to in the mornings. Dog friendly with bowl/towel/treats on arrival. Easy access to a couple of beautiful beaches - 5-10 mins by car or a 30-35 minute walk. We had some lovely day trips out to Alnwick, Bamburgh, Holy Island and also went to Edinburgh forRead more the day so a great location. Double bed wasn't that comfortable and the internet signal wasn't the best but apart from that an enjoyable stay! Hide

Given the awful weather we had it was nice to return to a warm house with space to dry off wet gear. Ideally just off the A1 so easy access to all areas of Northumberland and despite this was very quiet. Bathroom is downstairs but separated from the lounge area by a couple of doors so not an issue. Ideal house for a short break. A few frustrating nRead moreiggles, we never managed to get get on the WiFi, no corkscrewso had to postpone NYE wine and a door lock issue (quickly fixed by owners). This was a really lovely property very close to Berwick. Ideal as a base for exploring up & down the coast. Very clean and well decorated. The open plan design downstairs meant the property felt quite spacious. Having the bathroom downstairs wasn't ideal but just something to be aware of if you are booking this property.
