Arrive and park with ease in your private parking space (plus additional free parking close by), before stepping inside. Continue into the cosy lounge where a wood burner glows beside a plush sofa - a lovely setting for relaxed evenings with a film on the Smart TV. From here, a generous ground-floor bedroom offers a super-king-size bed with independent electric adjustment on each side, perfect for breakfast in bed or added mobility support. The en-suite includes a wet-room shower, separate bath and WC, along with helpful accessibility features for peace of mind. Take the wooden staircase to the first floor to find a stylish twin bedroom with a window seat for quiet reading moments and its own en-suite shower room. A second staircase leads to the top floor, where a light-filled second lounge with exposed beams, Smart TV, books and games provides a wonderful room for younger guests or those seeking a quiet retreat. Outside, a pretty enclosed patio invites you to savour fresh air and countryside views. Dine alfresco at the outdoor table, bask on the loungers, or gather around the fire pit as the evening draws in. Private parking for one car is provided directly outside the cottage.

From your doorstep, take a leisurely 0.5-mile stroll along the River Coquet into the heart of Warkworth, where the magnificent Warkworth Castle rises proudly above the village. Pack a picnic for the beautiful sandy beach, or hop aboard a small boat to visit the enchanting Warkworth Hermitage - a secluded 14th-century chapel carved directly into the riverbank. For coastal charm and fresh seafood, head to nearby Amble (2 miles), while a memorable day out awaits in historic Bamburgh (24 miles), home to one of the most iconic castles in the country.

We had a fabulous holiday at Judiths House. The location is really peaceful although the village is an only a short walk away. The cottage worked really well for a wheelchair user and we would love to return. The owners are really helpful too. Thank you!

Cottage in a pretty location and very well appointed. Owners very friendly and extremely helpful. Only negative for us was the heating in the downstairs had accidently been switched off meaning a cold first night.

A lovely dark sky cottage in a prime position for walking a dog into Warkworth (by the river) or driving into Alnwick and Alnmouth. The beach at Alnmouth is dog friendly and expansive and the Golf Club by the beach (also dog friendly) is open to the public. The only drawback with the cottage is the fact that the main bedroom is underneath a room inRead more the neighbouring let over which there is no control. When we were there it was common every night for there to be a disturbance in the small hours which caused wakefulness. Also, residents shold be aware that a certain amount of housekeeping will be expected so residents should be capable of stripping a bed and emptying bins. Hide

A lovely cottage, we really enjoyed the peaceful location and the beatiful walk along the river path to the village. The kitchen was well equiped and we did actually enjoy both living roons. The top one was sunnier and the ground floor one had a fantastic log burner.

Well placed for Warkworth centre but a little hard to find from instructions, fine after that. Could do with track potholes filling. Walkable but only if fit enough. Spotlessly clean. Nice and warm.
