A lovely cottage in a fantastic area for exploring the coastline. Found some brilliant places to eat and can highly recommend the pie at the apple Inn at lucker and the meals in the market tavern in Alnwick are superb. The only fault was the mattress which wasn't the best.

Ideal cottage for an autumnal break with the constant warmth from the AGA. Bright spaces, great location, handy well-stocked local shop and easy access to beautiful costal walking and the Jolly Fisherman in Craster. Secure parking at the rear of the house.

Plumtree is a lovely comfortable cottage with everything you need. Location is excellent with wonderful places to visit close by. The owners responded very quickly when we had a small problem and this was fixed promptly. Our dog loved the garden and the treats left for him. Thank you! We would happily recommend this cottage!

Good quiet location. Liked the cafe and supermarket nearby. We were blessed with excellent warm weather so had to turn off the Aga therefore boiling anything on top was out. Mattress comfortable except for the edges. Quiet village and great pubs nearby most of whom let dogs in. Superb beaches both up and down the coast.

We had a lovely holiday at Plumtree cottage with our cockapoo Freddie. It was spotlessly clean, very comfy & well equipped. Its ideally located for travelling about in Northumberland & the local beach is 25 mins walk away, the lovely Running Fox cafe a few doors away, the Jolly Fisherman at Craster worth a visit & the garden very secure for our dogRead more. The only issue for us was the saga with the Aga which made the cottage far too hot during the heatwave! However, the owner was very responsive! Hide

We loved our week staying at Plumtree. It's really quiet and in a great location, 30 minutes walk down a lane to the beautiful Howdiecroft and Sugar Sands beaches. The Running Fox cafe is just a couple of doors way and does fantastic drinks and food. A fantastic cottage, only downside is the Aga which sometimes makes the kitchen and lounge too warm, especially in the summer. Hide

A lovely cottage in a great location, ideal for a relaxing break! Quiet, well-furnished and came with a nice welcome package for us and our dog. Don't miss The Running Fox just down the road (the cakes are wonderful). It also sells a pamphlet of local walks which are well worth doing (although their timings are optimistic). The local beaches were eRead morexcellent for us and our cocker spaniel, and it was an easy drive to other beaches too. All in all, one to be recommended. Hide

Really lovely small cottage, comfortable furnishings, and good quality kitchen equipment. Got a bit hot in the kitchen/ living room area at times due to the AGA cooker, but bedroom was cooler. Its an easy 20-25 minute walk down a lane to the nearest beach and access to the coast path.
