The small garden was so secure for my "Hearing Dog" that I was able to leave one of the french doors ajar all night, for me to get some fresh air during the night, and her to relieve herself if she wanted to go out. Great cottage for 2 people and a brilliant conversion.

It's a quiet peaceful location, parking adequate, although could do with convex mirror on wall opposite to assist exit, since it's a national speed limit road and exit is on a corner and difficult to see. A good cental location to tour from.

Fabulous accommodation, we have a Rottweiler & the enclosed garden easily contained him, ample parking & the afternoon/evening sun bathed the seating area/garden, so so enjoyable. Easy to find just off the A1 and only 4 miles (on the B road) to Bamburgh, so ideal for exploring the Northumberland coastline including Holy Island

A lovely little cosy cottage to base yourself from, to explore the gems that Northumberland has to offer. Golden beaches, dramatic hills, stately homes and centuries of history, all accessible for day visits (more available from April onwards, when the season really kicks off).

We stayed in cottage 1 & family members in cottage 3. We had a fabulous stay. Only 10 minutes to Bamber beach, the dogs loved it. Good food available locally, dog friendly. Would definitely return.

Chill out stay for three nights. Very nice stay, although it was a drive to any eating or shopping establishments , we had already planned to have meals in doors. Cottage was very pleasant, only downside was there were no walking routes nearby by and the road without paths was busy. All in allit suited us as we planned to be out most of the day andRead more chilled out in the evening. Hide

Although advertised for dogs to stay you have to drive elsewhere to realistically walk the dog. Entrance to property down steps off uneven paving care must be taken. Would not recommend for people uneasy on their feet.

A great little cottage in a very good location just off the A1 and perfect for exploring northern Northumberland. It had everything necessary for my weeks stay despite being so compact. The courtyard caught the afternoon sun so was ideal to sit out with a drink at the end of the day.
