Quarry Cottage in Shotley Bridge straddles both County Durham and Northumberland with easy access to beautiful countryside, great facilities and is even within commuting distance of Newcastle and the market towns of Hexham and Corbridge.

Blanchland is a picturesque village also located on the boundary between County Durham and Northumberland. This quaint village is populated with 12th Century buildings constructed from the ruins of the ancient abbey and with an excellent, locally renowned pub/restaurant called The Lord Crewe Arms.

Lanchester’s Millfield House lies within the Vale of Durham and is only a 10 minute drive from Durham City with its magnificent Durham Cathedral and only 30 minutes from the Newcastle/Gateshead area. Surrounded by lovely countryside with a great village pub/restaurant and close to award-winning Hall Hill Farm visitor attraction.
