West Lodge is situated at the entrance to the impressive Guyzance Hall; a stunning country house set within 350 acres of beautiful Northumbrian countryside. Set on the banks of the River Coquet, West Lodge enjoys stunning views of the water and wildlife around the property.

West Lodge sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, all with ensuite facilities and is comfortable and furnished to a high standard. This property is ideal for groups of friends or larger families looking for a good base from which to explore the Northumberland coast and countryside.  There is a private 3 mile stretch of the River Coquet which can be fished for Salmon and Sea Trout for guests to enjoy (must be pre-booked and charge applies. Must have license and own fishing equipment).

West Lodge is located 15 miles north east of the market town of Morpeth and only 4 miles inland of the picture perfect coastal village of Warkworth, which lies snuggled in the shadow of its majestic castle.
The traditional fishing village of Amble, known locally as 'the friendliest port' is just a short drive away and from here you can take a boat trip to Coquet Island to see the puffins,seals and amazing range of bird life. The Northumberland National Park is a 30 minute drive with Rothbury village, well worth a look around with a great range of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as craft shops and art galleries to browse.

Ground Floor

Lounge: Open fire, flatscreen TV with freeview and DVD player, 3 x double sofas, coffee table and windows from the lounge give excellent riverside views.
Kitchen / Diner: Electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine
Cloakroom:  WC and wash basin. 
Bedroom 1: Super-king size bed (or two single beds if you prefer) and en-suite shower over bath, WC and wash basin.

Lower Ground Floor

Bedroom 2: Two single beds and en-suite shower cubicle, WC and wash basin
Bedroom 3: Double bed and en-suite shower cubicle, WC and wash basin

Outdoors:  Small, enclosed private garden with BBQ and outdoor furniture. Use of the tennis courts are available to guests at allocated times. Fishing is also available, please ask on arrival.

Off road parking available for 2 cars.

All gas and electricity included. Bed linen and towels provided.

West Lodge was spacious and very tidy. There was also a lot to do around like walks. It wasn't that far from the nearest shops and it was overall very enjoyable
