Thornbrae Apartment is a beautifully finished, stone-built holiday Apartment in Alnwick.  It offers an excellent standard of self-catering holiday accommodation for couples looking to explore the stunning county of Northumberland and visit the many popular local attractions including the popular Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Gardens and the many popular beauty spots, both coast and country.

Set across one level, this first floor apartment offers spacious living space which is both light and spacious. There are many luxurious features including; a large flatscreen TV, electric reclining leather sofas, complimentary slippers and free off-road parking.

Guests staying at Thornbrae Apartment, will not be short of great days out. The award-winning Northumberland Coastline is literally 10 minutes drive with popular seaside villages of Alnmouth, Wakworth, Amble, Craster and Seahouses (where you can take a boat trip to the Farne Islands) all within easy reach. Recently voted  'Holiday Destination of the Year' by Countryfile Magazine 2017, Northumberland is a great location with so much to see and do, you'll be spoilt for choice for great places to eat, visit and explore!  Steeped in history, Northumberland is the only county in the England with over 70 castles guarding our dramatic coastline, these include; Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh and Lindisfarne. Inland, you can enjoys days out to Rothbury, the Simonside Hills and Cragside House and Gardens, all within a 20 minutes drive.

Please note: that for a few months in Spring 2017 there is another cottage being developed in the grounds. This work will happen during the working day. Wherever possible, disturbance to guests staying at Thornbrae Apartment will be minimal.

NB: Entrance to the Apartment from the front door is via a staircase. 

Open Plan Kitchen, Dining Area and Lounge.

Kitchen Area: Fully fitted, modern kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, ceramic hob and electric oven, microwave, 4-slice toaster, kettle. 

Dining Area: with dining table and seating for 2.

Lounge Area: With 2 large, leather sofas, coffee table, large flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD player. Selection of DVD's, games and books.

Bedroom 1: With double bed, bedside drawers and lamps, large wardrobe and hair dryer.

Shower Room: Fully tiled with modern lighting, a step-in shower, heated towel rail, wash basin with illuminated mirror over and WC.

Outside: Off road parking for one car. Access to the communal garden in the grounds with children's play equipment.
