The Moorings enjoys an excellent location, overlooking the beautiful Beadnell coastline - with breath-taking sea views from the spacious upstairs lounge and kitchen/diner, as well as a cosy, open fire to relax beside on chilly nights!

The large conservatory leads off from the lounge area, offering yet more space to relax - with double doors opening onto the wide balcony, which looks over a rear garden terrace. This is an ideal spot if you want to catch some afternoon sun and delve into a good book in the comfort of one of the best holiday cottages in Beadnell.

When you spend your stay in one of our conveniently located Beadnell cottages, you can simply pop over the road to see the beautiful Beadnell Bay in all its golden glory and investigate the range of local watersports activities on offer. Nearby are two great pubs serving food, and an excellent café and patisserie (which becomes a popular bistro in the evenings).

The fishing village of Seahouses, boasting a wide range of restaurants, coffee houses and shops (as well as boat trips to the famous Farne Islands) is a 2-minute drive from here - with Bamburgh Castle and its beautiful village just a few minutes beyond that. Put simply, The Moorings is a superb place to stay with lots to offer a larger group.

The living accommodation is open plan and located upstairs, taking advantage of the uninterrupted, coastal scenery. The property has Freeview TV, a DVD player and Wi-Fi to keep everyone entertained during your time in the cottage.

The kitchen is very well-equipped, with everything you might need - from plastic picnic cups to cling film (not to mention 2 fridges)! It’s the perfect space to cook, socialise and enjoy a ‘home-cooked’ meal with your family and friends.

One of our most accommodating Beadnell holiday cottages, The Moorings sleeps up to 9 guests over 3 bedrooms, which are located downstairs. There is 1 double bedroom, 1 family room with a double bed and a single, and a connecting bedroom with bunk beds to sleep up to 4 guests (suitable for children). On top of that, there’s a family bathroom upstairs.

If you’re travelling with the family, there’s an excellent kids' space, with a pool table and seating - which leads outside to the rear, enclosed garden terrace.

The whole of the Northumberland Coast will be right on your doorstep when you stay at The Moorings. The Moorings, Beadnell is in a great location & has stunning views from the upstairs windows. All bedrooms downstairs for obvious reasons. I would certainly go again

The Moorings with bedrooms on ground floor and living areas upstairs this gave us the most amazing sea views. A well equipped house to suit all ages, although for guests with mobility problems steps could be a problem and seating was quite low. We did overcome these problems and overall had a fantastic week, great rock pool beach across the road and sandy beaches close by, local shop for papers etc a short walk away. The Craster Arms pub in Beadnell had a large beer garden and food was lovely, well worth a visit. Chinese in Seahouses was a good choice for a takeaway. There were 6 adults and 3 children aged between 2-6 in our party and they enjoyed (in their own words) the beach, paddling and playing with all the toys available to them in the house. They cried when we left on Friday as they didn't want to go home. I think the fine weather all week played a part in their answers. Finally a lovely gesture from the owner of wine and chocolates was appreciated by all adults. Well worth a visit if you've never been to Beadnell and surrounding areas. We will be back.
