The Carriage House is a nicely presented, clean, light, comfortable and well-equipped cottage adjacent to the owners house. Its location made it a great base to explore the area. We particularly enjoyed Cragside House (NT) and Durham Cathedral.

Perfect cottage for a family. Very comfy and cosy with everything you could want for a holiday. Ideal location for visiting the beach and lots of other tourist attractions.

The cottage was in a good location to visit many different areas of Northumberland. The owner was friendly and helpful and offered advice on places to visit which would be easy for an elderly member of our party. She also gave us a full explanation of all the facilities in the cottage. The cottage was light, clean and spacious and en suite bathrooms for both bedrooms was a bonus. The beautiful flowers lasted all week and the wine was a nice touch.
