Very happy with the cottage, location etc. Absolutely spotless could not fault this at all! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location was good although not much to walk to in the village so we had to use the car all the time. However Alnwick, Alnmouth are all very nearby. The Running Fox in Felton was a great find, as was Barter Books in Alnwick.

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. The interior is well designed, snug and comfortable. The wall map and hung photographs of the surrounding area lend themselves perfectly to planning days out and about from a walk up Simonside to a wander around Dunstanburgh Castle.
I have spent a lot of time on the coast of Northumberland and sugar sands, a short walk from the cottage, is one of my favourite beaches due to its secluded feel and white sand.
All in all, a perfect little retreat.

What a gorgeous cottage! We stayed in The Bothy for a week, it was cosy and comfortable and had everything we could possibly need, including a well-stocked co-op just around the corner. The Bothy is just a short walk from what feels like your own private beach, from which you can explore the beautiful Northumberland Coast by foot, car, boat or bicycle. The cottage is in a perfect location to get into the historical town of Alnwick for the day and is only a 15 minute drive from Alnmouth train station. The cottage itself is a home from home and perfect to come back to after a day on the beach or a night in the pub!
