Still Waters is a brand new, luxury apartment for up to 4 people and enjoys one of the best locations on the Northumberland Coastline; overlooking Amble Marina at the newly developed Coble Quay. Relax in style and comfort in this beautiful apartment with its dual aspect balcony which affords you expansive views of the ever-changing light throughout the day from sunrise to sunset. Gaze across the yachts and boats moored in Amble's popular Marina towards medieval Warkworth Castle, on the Coquet Estuary. You can also see the sandy beach and coastline beyond and no matter what the weather is doing, you are guaranteed a front row seat to the best show on the coast!
Beautifully appointed, this first floor apartment offers high quality, modern facilities and comfortable furnishings throughout. The spacious, open-plan living area has wall to wall windows and a large, sliding door on to the balcony. There are two lovely bedrooms; the Master bedroom with a super-king, zip and link bed* and an en-suite, shower room, plus a further double bedroom and bathroom. In addition, there is private, off-road parking for one car under the car port with options for a second car parking free nearby, free guest Wi-Fi and a lift for anyone with limited mobility.
The apartment is located on the Northumberland Coastal Path and National Cycle Route 1 and from here, you have easy access to St. Oswald's Way for walking and cycling.

Known as 'The Friendliest Port,' Amble has so much to offer all year round and all within easy reach, including some great, award winning restaurants. The Fat Mermaid tapas and deli bar is on your doorstep, as are Sea & Soil and Jaspers bistros. Other great restaurants to try include,The Old Boathouse, The Fish Shack and La Famiglia. For sweet treats, the fabulous Spurelli's ice cream parlour is not to be missed! Browse and buy gifts from the quirky boat-style shopping 'pods' in the harbour and the award-winning High Street which offers an array of independent shops and cafes. Cycle the coastal routes (family friendly) to either nearby Cresswell and Druridge Bay to the south and Alnmouth to the north and take a boat trip to nearby Coquet Island to see the birdlife.  Try a myriad of activities, such as canoeing and kayaking at the local water sports centre and of course, all the famous Northumberland attractions are all within easy reach.

Important information regarding the current building works at Coble Quay:
The final apartment block at Coble Quay is currently being built. This block is to the right of Still Waters' block on the quay and the works are anticipated to complete late in 2018. Your view of the marina is undisturbed from the front balcony and only slightly from the side. The developers cannot completely predict the schedule for building works in the future, it may be that no disturbance at all is caused throughout your holiday. The contractors do not work at weekends and the building area is fenced off however, at some times during the midweek there may be some noise and traffic as they go about their business.
Whilst neither the owners nor Cottages in Northumberland have any control over neighbouring building works, as a gesture of goodwill we are offering discounts to compensate for any potential disturbance that may be caused during your holiday.  
So, for all mid-week and full week bookings, the breaks have all been reduced by 20%, saving between £126 and £239 per full week and between £94 and £179 per short break.
By booking the apartment and accepting this discount, you accept that this discount is purely a gesture of goodwill and that neither the owners nor Cottages in Northumberland  have any liability regarding the neighbouring building works. With the acceptance of the discount offered, no further discounts or any other form of compensation will be available before, during or after the holiday.

Accommodation Summary: 
The Apartment is located on the first floor with a staircase and also a lift to the front door.
Open Plan Area:
Lounge: With large right handed chaise sofa, two armchairs, coffee table, occasional tables and lamps. Blu Ray player and 46" Smart TV with freeview. Wall to Wall, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the marina with a large, sliding door leading to the balcony.
Dining: Dining table which comfortably seats six.
Kitchen: With beautiful worktops, induction hob, built-in, eye level double electric oven and grill, built-in microwave, fridge freezer, integrated dishwasher, a 4-slice toaster, caffetiere and kettle. There is also a washer/dryer, steam iron and ironing board, Impressive range of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, as well as ample storage space for your own food.
Balcony: Dual aspect, 6.6 metre wide, glass fronted balcony with ample space and comfortable seating for 4 adults. (Please note that whilst the windows are cleaned weekly, as we are sure you will appreciate, the owners of the property cannot take responsibility for any naturally occurring sea salt spray).
Master Bedroom with ensuite shower room: With a Super king 'zip and link' bed which can be split into two single beds if required (*please confirm your requirements by telephone or email at the booking stage), bedside drawers and lamps and plenty of storage, including a tall chest of drawers, a built-in wardrobe with light and additional shelving, long mirror and hair dryer.
En- Suite shower room: with walk-in shower, heated towel rail, wash basin with large mirror over and WC.
Bedroom 2: With double bed, bedside drawers and lamps, a free standing long mirror, chest of drawers, hair dryer and a built-in wardrobe with light.
Main Bathroom: With 'P' shaped bath and shower over, shower screen, heated towel rail, wash basin with mirror over and WC.
Outside: Parking for one car is under the apartment's private car port (next to the main entrance door). This is a great area for storing bikes too.
Additional parking may be found in one of several free car parks within a couple of minutes' walk from the apartment.
Locally sourced Welcome Pack, bed linen, towels, heating and hot water are included.

Still Waters was excellent! The property had everything you need and all excellent quality. The view from Still Waters was stunning. I have never sat still and relaxed as much as I did for a long time. Highly recommend the apartment and I think we will be back

The apartment in Amble is in a superb location overlooking the harbour. It is full of modern conveniences and well equipped. The food hamper on arrival was most welcome and much appreciated.
