Just had a lovely week in St Cuthbert's, just me and my dog Eddie. The cottage is lovely and cosy and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lots of walking, reading and eating, batteries are now re-charged!!! The only downside to the cottage in terms of dog friendliness is there is no outside space, open the door and you are on the road, however it is literally 2 seconds from the beach so not a huge problem. Parking can be a tad tight if busy but that's through out the cottages / back streets. Directly opposite the pub wasn't a problem at all, no noisy locals while we were there anyway!!! Slept really well, bed comfy! And a random bonus was washing powder you use smelt lovely!!! No hairdryer was the only thing missing. Lovely walk from Seahouses to Bamburgh and back (7 miles) And another lovely walk from Craster to low Newton and back (8 miles) - would recommend both - great open beaches for dogs to run on! Bamburgh castle inn in Seahouses does great food and very friendly! Reliable, accurate descriptions, overall good service.

We have stayed here 2-3 times before, it's clean and cosy and near to the beach, shops and pubs. Thank you for the Christmas tree, mince pies and Cava, it was a nice Christmas surprise, a lovely cosy cottage near to everything and of course being able to take our small well behaved dog. Lovely clean cosy cottage near the sea and local shops/pubs. We walked to Bamburgh and visited Amble.
