Panoramic sea views and a stunning location! Seaview Cottage is situated in the family friendly, seaside resort of Spittal, near Berwick-upon-Tweed the last English town in Northumberland before the nearby beautiful Scottish borders. The house is literally a few meters from the beach with a lovely garden to the front leading straight onto the beach promenade! From here you can see the Holy island of Lindisfarne and even walk to it along the beach and then picking up the coastal path. You can also walk the 10-mile coastal path all the way down to Creswell beach - stopping for a few refreshments on the way, of course!

With 3 generous bedrooms, sleeping up to 7 guests, an ensuite shower room to the master bedroom, plus a luxurious, family bathroom with separate shower, a large open plan lounge and dining area and a great kitchen with a huge, 6-ring gas hob/ range cooker, you will have plenty of room to spread out and relax.

Facilities include an open fire (soon to become a wood burning stove), free guest Wi-Fi, a telescope for gazing at the stars and sea birds form the lounge, off road parking and a fully equipped modern kitchen.

Seaview Cottage would suit a larger family or a group of friends. Anyone with golfing, walking or cycling in mind will also love staying here. There is a great village shop, selling everything you might need, as well as a pub and so much to do and see in the area, you will need more time!

This cottage accepts one well behaved dog. Please note there is an additional charge for a dog - please see our terms and conditions (point19) for more details and point17 for house rules regarding dogs.

Bed linen, towels, heating and hot water are all included.

 Accommodation Summary

Entrance via rear into patio area and kitchen.

Kitchen - Fully equiped with a 6-ring range style cooker with extractor fan, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetiere. There is a washing machine and clothes airer, iron and ironing board. Double doors open into the dining area and lounge.

Dining Area - with large marble effect dining table and seating for 8, book cases and cabinets.

Lounge - Light and spacious with large, bay window overlooking the beach with sea views. There are 2 large, comfortable sofas, occasional tables and lamps, a feature fireplace with an open fire (soon to become a wood burning stove) a 50 inch flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, i-pod docking station, CD/Radio and a large telescope.

Hallway - The large hallway leads to the front door of the cottage with coat hooks and a boot/shoie rack at the front door and stairs leading to the first and seciond floors. Open the front door into the lovely front garden, walk throught he garden gate and you are on the promenade and beach!

First Floor:

Bedroom 1 - Double Bed with bedside cabinets and lamps, a double wardrobe and chest of drawers. Flat screen TV with Freeview. The large, bay window offers fabulous sea views!

Bedroom 2 - Twin bedded room with bedside drawers and lamp with a mirror over and electric socket. Double wardrobe.

Family Bathroom - With large, free standing bath, a separate corner shower cubicle, wash basin with mirror over, a heated towel rail and WC.

Second Floor:

Bedroom 3 - Light and spacious room with en-suite shower room,a double bed with bedside drawers and lamps, a velux window is built in low enough to offer excellnt sea and beach views. There are two built-in wardrobes, a comfortable day bed for the 7th guest and a Juliette balcony to the rear.

En-suite shower room -  down a couple of steps to the ensuite shower room with a walk-in shower, small wash basin, towel rail over radiator and WC.

Outside:

There is an enclosed patio area with seating to the rear from the kitchen which is a real sun trap on a warm day.

Parking: There is off-road parking for one car on the hard standing in front of the rear garden, plus you can park an additional car in front of the patio area at the rear of the cottage. N.B. There is no parking for anyone at the front of the house as this is the promenade for the beach!

Seaview is in a fabulous location with the sea literally on your doorstep. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. We visited the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne, and walked around Berwick's walls. We also had wall to wall sunshine - if only that could be booked!

We were situated right on the beach just along from a small play park. We loved the house. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 young children. The neighbours were very friendly. Seaview had Sky which was on in the morning for my grandchildren. There was not anything that I thought was missing.
