Beautiful attention to detail, very homey. Every appliance and gadget was available for us to use. Great location in the heart of the village with the Craster Arms on one side, Beadnell Towers on the other with the cafe around the corner. The beach was a short walk, either way to the dunes and huge beach or rocky pools and dunes. All dog friendly. The cottage itself is a home from home with high quality fixtures and fittings with many small touches like throws, cushions, pictures and beach scene objects. Very happy to recommend as well organised and an easy holiday to do.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, very comfortable and a real luxury feel. Spotlessly clean. Everything you need, good standard of kitchen equipment if you were going to cook, however we didn't as we were so near to the Craster Arms, Beadnell Towers and Saltwater Cafe. Definitely, really efficient and great communication including directions. This is a gorgeous cottage, really quite luxurious, everything is of a really good standard. Appreciated the enclosed yard, which was good for the dog. Really close to the 3 eating places in Beadnell, so,the car didn't move,,which was a real treat too. Would definitely recommend Rose Cottage

Stayed at Rose Cottage from 30 September until 3 October 2016. The first thing that struck me when we first drove up to it was how pretty it looked. Inside it had a nautical theme - well suited to a Northumberland coastal village. It was well equipped with everything you could possibly need from dishwasher to glasses. The beds were comfortable and there was constant hot water in the bathroom. The outside space with table and chairs was appreciated. It was lovely being able to have a break where dogs are welcome. A short drive to the beach meant the dogs were able to run freely along the sand and often into the sea or the dunes. As it was sunny and warm during our visit we spent some time in the beer garden at the Craster Inn which is adjacent to the cottage. We had a really tasty meal there. The portions would satisfy even the hungriest person's appetite. My gammon steak would have lasted me for several meals as it was so large, The staff were happy to put the remainder in a doggy bag which in this case was genuinely for the doggies. All in all a really enjoyable weekend and I would have no hesitation in recommending Rose Cottage.
