Riley's Retreat was beautifully clean and comfortable and it had a nice enclosed garden for the dog. We particularly enjoyed the beaches nearby and watching the birds. The riding school in Seahouses was excellent, had a really good ride including a lovely gallop on the beach. This was one of the best holidays we have had, good weather, lots of open space on the beach, interesting castles to see and lovely walks.

Riley's Retreat was everything we thought it would be. It felt like home from home. The cottage has everything you require a great position for the town, beach, golf club. It is very central for ALL coastal towns within half an hours drive. Bamburgh is a great walk along the beech from sea houses Almouth beach is also a gem. We found that the area is very dog friendly and will be coming back!!!
