This delightful, semi-detached holiday property enjoys an enviable location close to the beach at Beadnell Bay, popular for beach lovers and water sports and just a short drive from Seahouses which boasts many restaurants, shops and bars, as well as Bamburgh village with its magnificent castle. There are two great, dog friendly, pub restaurants in the village of Beadnell, as well as a friendly coffee/patisserie shop, a general store and fish and chip shop. The property is located in a quiet, no-through road set between Harbour Road in Beadnell and the sand dunes on the beach! This delightful cottage benefits from being only a very short walk over the dunes onto the beach and has a good sized, south facing garden with outdoor dining furniture; perfect for all the family to enjoy relaxing outside and maybe a BBQ.
The interior of the cottage is light, airy with a smart new kitchen and wood flooring downstairs. The cottage is well equipped, providing accommodation for a family or friends - up to 5 people in 3 lovely bedrooms. Oar Cottage is the perfect holiday home from home, especially for beach lovers!

Accommodation

Downstairs
Lounge/Dining room: Two comfortable sofas, occasional tables, dining table with six chairs. Wall-mounted TV, X-box Console/DVD player, Freeview digi-box and Wi-Fi.

Kitchen: Fully equipped with washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven and hob, fridge freezer, Nespresso Coffee Machine, well equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

Cloakroom: With hand wash basin and storage unit beneath and WC.

Upstairs
Bedroom 1: Light and airy Master bedroom with double bed, bedside tables with a small drawer each and lamps, built in storage, an easy chair and a chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2: Full size bunk beds. (N.B. No Storage) Door hooks for hanging some clothing.
Bedroom 3: Single bed with bedside table and lamp.
Bathroom: Bath with shower over, hand wash basin and WC.

Heating: Electric storage heaters in lounge and bathroom, electric convection heaters in the bedrooms.

Outside
Good sized south facing garden with garden furniture provided in the shed.

Parking: Is off-road for two cars on the driveway.

Oar Cottage is reached via a short, unadopted road which leads into the cul-de-sac. The dunes to the beach can be reached on foot from the cottage.

The cottage was well located for the beach and we enjoyed our daily walks very much. The local pub in Beadnell called the Craster Arms served great food and was very friendly. We loved the Northumberland coast and will definitely return.
