Our third visit to Seahouses and first to Little Cottage. A dear Little Cottage well equipped for two adults and their dog. We really enjoyed being able to walk from the front door to Bamburgh for lunch in The Bamburgh Castle Inn or The Victoria Hotel. Both have excellent food and in The Victoria Hotel, your dog is very welcome indoors. We also walked to Beadnell and sat at the quay. There are no cafe's in Beadnell, but the caravan site sells teas/coffee/cakes/sandwiches. We revisited the market town of Amble, Morpeth and Alnwick. All very dog friendly. A trip up to Coldstream on the border with Scotland was a change in scenery and a great walk on a large farm estate just outside of Coldstream. All in all, a wonderful holiday. Thank you very much Cottages in Northumberland.

Clean comfortable well equipped and well located, spotless throughout. All necessary mod cons given the size of the cottage. If they are all as good as the one we stayed at I would recommend you to anyone. We stayed at Little Cottage in Seahouses a beautifully appointed and well located cottage 5 minutes from the harbour and the town. The cottage was very well equipped and spotless and we enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Seahouses and the surrounding coastline is magnificent - miles and miles of golden sands where everyone can have a good time and dogs are welcome year round. There are countless boat trips around the Farne Islands available as well as Bamburgh castle and Lindisfarne which are minutes away by car. You can even walk to them if you have the energy. Seahouses is totally dog friendly and most pubs welcome them in. Great fish and chips to be had as well as ice cream and seafood. Its the birth place of the kipper apparently. Berwick on Tweed is about 30 minutes further north where you can visit a honey farm and cross into Scotland via the oldest suspension bridge in the world still carrying road traffic - built in 1820 Enjoy
