Lindisfarne was one of the best cottages we have stayed in. It was well equipped and the location was great for the town and the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable and the blackout blinds were a good touch. The welcome gift of wine and chocolate biscuits were appreciated and enjoyed. Lots of books, DVDs and CDs as well as a selection of games. The owners have thought of everything and I look forward to returning.

Lindisfarne Cottage was conveniently placed for the town and harbour. It was warm and comfortable. There was no storage facilities for our bikes but, having said that, we would not expect them in the location of the cottage. Shower was good, beds were comfortable and the welcome pack that included Prosecco and Shortbread was much appreciated. We enjoyed cycling around the area and meals out that were particularly enjoyed were at the Old Ship Inn and the Bamburgh Castle, both in Seahouses, and the teas at the Copper Kettle in Bamburgh.

We love Northumberland, our 3rd visit and this was our 2nd stay in Seahouses. Lindisfarne was well presented and a lovely touch of a small welcome hamper and pack. The cottage is situated 2 mins from the harbour and centre of Seahouses and a short walk to the gorgeous Nothumbrian beaches. From Seahouses you can see Bamburgh castle, one of our favourite places to visit. The kids love it! Great places to eat in Bamburgh too.
