Islestone cottage, Beadnell is located in a very peaceful setting. From there it is a lovely coastal ride to Seahouses and Bamburgh. Alnwick & the Holy Island is are quickly reached via the A1. The Castles at Bamburgh and Alnwick are well worth a visit. Bamburgh and Beadnell have lovely beaches. Great walks along the coast. Golf courses close by too. A wonderful area for a relaxing break doing the things you most enjoy.

For an Autumn break the cottage was very warm. It is in a great location, very private, surrounded by fields but close to the beach and village centre. The interior is a nice balance between traditional and modern.
We were pleased with the service and the agent we spoke to managed to change our start date to a Saturday instead of a Friday. I have to work on a Saturday.

Lovely cottage in a location ideal for all Northumberland's attractions. The house itself is spacious, amazing facilities for kids (trampoline, garden toys, books, games, huge supply of boys toys) and clean. Beautifully presented. It's a short walk across the field to the village, a playground and the beach. We spent time at Alnwick Castke and Gardens, and time walking and on the beach.
