Very good, warm and comfy. Immaculate. Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom first class. Hotspur cottage is very comfortable with excellent central heating, a good very wide bed and two good sofas which are cloth upholstered and not the dreaded "leather look". Good open views across the golf course and river towards Rothbury. The large living/kitchen area has creaky floors which are very noticeable when first entering the cottage but don't affect the overall impression that this holiday let is very good.

Nicely finished and decorated, great location. No complaints, nice welcoming cottage. Lovely bolthole for two in great location for exploring Nortumberland. Not enough time on long weekend to visit the many towns / attractions nearby . In Rothbury Turks Head was very dog friendly also visited Alnwick, Amble, Bednell, Seahouses, Bamburgh, and enjoyed them all.

Situated in a lovely spot with a short walk to town. Everything was clean, tidy and very well equipped. We stayed 4 nights this time and it just went too quickly. Everything you could want was in the cottage. A welcome bottle of wine awaited us with tea and biscuits. In the surrounding fields lambs were frolicking and their antics kept us amused. There was a right of way by the side of the cottage onto the golf course and in 10-15 minutes we were in the town. Lovely little shops with unusual knickknacks. A fabulous bakery with lovely freshly baked food. The Turks Head was a great place to take our dog who was welcomed in and given biscuits by the staff. Lots of dog friendly beautiful beaches within a short drive and of course the lovely riverside walk near to where we were staying. We hope to start planning our next break soon. We just cannot get enough of this area and the fabulous accommodation. Thank you - we totally love the area and are looking forward to planning our next time away. This was our third break with your company. We cannot fault the places we have stayed at so far.
