Guillemot Cottage is located within easy walking distance of our stunning, Northumberland Heritage Coastline which was recently awarded 'Holiday Destination of the Year' by much loved Countryfile Magazine and within a short, easy walk to the bustling village of Seahouses where you will find plenty of shops, bars, cafe's and restaurants to explore and from the picturesque harbour you can visit the amazing Farne Islands on one of the regular boat trips leaving daily, to see the array of birds and wildlife, including of course, the puffins and seals.

Guillemot Cottage sleeps up to 4 guests in a King size bedroom with ensuite shower and a second twin bedroom. There is an attractive lounge and dining room with sliding patio doors leading outside into the enclosed patio/garden area with outdoor furniture where you can relax and eat. In addition to offering Wi-Fi, there is parking for up to one car outside on the cottage's driveway.

Staying at Guillemot Cottage, you can enjoy easy access to the coastal footpath, linking you to other seaside villages along the Northumberland Coast including the popular coastal villages of Bamburgh - with its magnificent castle, beach and village amenities (great restaurants, independent shops and pubs) and then there is nearby Beadnell - with its horseshoe shaped beach and a working harbour . Beadnell is extremely popular with visitors who have a passion for all types of watersport activities including diving, surfing and kite boarding. Don't worry though, you can also go rock pooling at low tide or simply take a blanket and picnic and relax back for a day at the beach!

Guillemot Cottage was in fact a modern mews house! It was located in a quiet area of Seahouses with easy access to the town. We enjoyed our stay here and would return. Good places to visit - Grace Darling Museum. It was fascinating and admission was free, and Bamburgh Castle. Seahouses is a good base to explore this beautiful area.

The cottage location is excellent. Seahouses is only a few minutes walk away. There are quite a few places to eat including pubs, fish and chip shops and cafes. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. We did however have a problem with the boiler but this was sorted straight away by the people looking after the cottage. There are walks from the door. We enjoyed visiting Bamburgh Castle and Berwick upon Tweed.
