Grove House is a well equipped large house right in the centre of Bamburgh with views of the castle. It was lovely and warm in freezing weather, and spotless throughout. Everything we needed was there. We didn't expect logs to be available so had brought our own which we used all week! It is warm throughout with additional wood burning stoves in the lounge and dining room. We were a party of 8 and there was plenty of room for all. An excellent week.....

Grove House was exactly as described and the advertised pictures were true to life rather than 'made to appear perfect'. It was fresh and spotless on arrival. We had everything we needed and more. Just didn't have time to make use of everything. Have already recommended Cottages in Northumberland, the area and specifically Grove House to friends! A second set of keys would have been useful to allow early risers to leave the house and lock up while other slept, but we managed fine and loved our stay. Grove House is perfectly positioned in the middle of the village. Everything we wanted was in the house and the welcome pack was a fab surprise. When we arrived it was spotless, beautifully appointed and exactly as per the pictures/description that made us choose it. Please don't miss the chance to visit Bamburgh Castle and walk the beach to Seahouses - it is especially magical early in the morning when quiet. There is far too much to do in a week, so we will certainly be back.

Grove House is a luxurious house in a lovely position in the centre of the village, with some of the windows looking up to the domineering castle. We used some of the offers provided e.g. discounted entry in castle. The house is ideal for a relaxing family holiday and all our four adult children enjoyed the spacious but cosy rooms to chill out in. The house is a really well equipped home from home and provides space for everyone to do their own thing, and has a super kitchen, dining room, and lounge to get together in the evenings. I'm sure we'll be back!
