Gable is a wonderfully clean and very well equipped cottage. It has everything you need including dog bowls. The heating worked brilliantly too for colder evenings. A wonderful cottage in a wonderful place

Gable cottage is within a few minutes walk of the sea and it was a pleasure to walk out in the morning to see the sea. The beach stretching to Bamburgh is fantastic. We also enjoyed a boat trip to the Farne Islands. The cottage was well equipped and the beds comfortable - but I did miss having Netflix, as there were rainy days as is almost inevitable in the area. I loved the area as did the dog.

My partner and I recently spent at week at Gable Cottage, character property with a modern twist. Well equipped, very clean, nice touch of sparkling wine and chocolates on arrival. Great location in respect of harbour and shops, Seahouses probably a bit too on the 'touristy' side for us but then on this occasion wanted to be near amenities - well stocked Co - op in the high street, worth a drive to the butchers in Bamburgh for pies! Salt Water Cafe in Beadnell good for Seafood, found by chance. Trip out to the Farne Islands was fantastic.
