Fairways, Seahouses is a beautifully finished, 4 bedroom holiday property offering first class, self catering accommodation at the coast for either a large family or a group of friends. Fairways is detached and enjoys an enviable and quiet location in popular Seahouses. The house is within easy walking distance to the good range of shops, bars, restaurants, the harbour, beach, boat trips to the Farne islands and Seahouses golf club with panoramic views. The coastal path is close by so, you can explore the beautiful, local heritage beaches without taking your car.  You can also walk to nearby Bamburgh village and enjoy the shops and restaurants on offer there, as well as visit the magnificent castle and stunning beach.

There is plenty of room for everyone in Fairways, including a garage for your car plus parking for 2 additional cars. There is an enclosed garden, as well as the Garden Room and lounge to spread out and relax in. The owners have taken great care to provide everything you will need to be able to relax and enjoy your well earned holiday at the coast including Wi-Fi, TV/DVD/CD players in many of the rooms, hair dryers in every room and even a safe for your valuables – you just need to bring your toothbrush!

Ground Floor:

Entrance hall: cloakroom/WC and a large bookcase fully stocked with a healthy supply of great reads.

Kitchen and adjoining dining room:  With a large fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, 4 slice toaster, dishwasher, small TV/DVD (for the cook/chef !) and a circular breakfast table with seating for 4. The adjoining dining room has a large table with seating for 6, a dresser and cabinet.

Utility Room: has both a large washing machine and separate tumble drier, a Belfast sink and plenty of storage with a door giving direct access to the garden, as well as another door leading into the garage.

Lounge: comfortable seating on leather sofas, large 46 inch flat screen TV mounted on the wall for your entertainment with a 'YouView' Smart Box which gives you T.V. Catch-up, i-Player and a record and re-wind facility. iPod docking station and free Wi-Fi, PlayStation 3 and games. The sliding patio doors lead from the lounge into the spacious Garden Room.

Garden Room:  with plenty of additional seating, coffee and occasional tables and a 32 inch TV and DVD player. From here, you can sit and relax looking out onto the garden and French doors open on to the garden and patio area.


Master bedroom: Super King size bed with bedside drawers and lamps. There are two double wardrobes in this room offering plenty of storage, including a hotel style safe for your valuables, a hairdryer and a wall mounted flat screen TV/DVD player. There is also an ensuite shower room with a WC, wash basin with a mirror and an electric shaving point. The

Second bedroom: has two single beds with bedside shelves and lamps, a large double wardrobe and hairdryer. There is also a wall mounted TV/DVD player and a mirror.

Third bedroom: double bed with bedside drawers and lamps, a hairdryer and mirror and small corner shelves, as well as a wall mounted TV/DVD. Please note, there is no wardrobe in this room but with two double wardrobes in the master bedroom there is plenty of room for storage in there.

Fourth bedroom: children's room with bunk beds, a small double wardrobe and a TV/DVD.

Family bathroom: with a shower over the bath, WC and wash basin with a mirror and electric shaving point.

At the rear: there is an enclosed garden with a raised lawn area and a paved patio area with a large outdoor table and seating for 6. There is a door from the utility room into the double garage to store your bikes, surf boards, fishing nets, etc.
At the front: there is a curved, private driveway with room to park two cars plus use of one side of the double garage – the other being for storage.

Prices include bed linen, towels, heating and hot water. N.B. Fairways has efficient central heating and a 'combi' boiler for hot water and so is ideal for a holiday any time of the year. A travel cot and high chair are also available for families with young children.

This cottage accepts one small well behaved dog. Please see our terms and conditions (point 19)for more details and (point 17) for house rules regarding dogs.

Fairways is a well located house on the edge of Seahouses a short walk from the town and harbour. Good location for walks along the local beaches. Boat trips to the Farne Islands on-board Serenity boats is a good trip to see seals and seabirds. Trip to Holy Island is a short journey away too. The Dunstanburgh Hotel in Embleton does lovely Sunday lunches and bar food. Neptune's in Seahouses for Fish and chips. For amazing scones and drinks go to The Drift café at Cresswell. Great ice creams at Bamburgh.

The response from the office was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A comfortable and very quiet house in a great location. Lots of good walking on the doorstep and enough places to eat locally.
