Creel Cottage is a lovely two bedroom, stone built fisherman’s cottage with character located in the heart of Seahouses, only a few minutes away from the harbour where boat trips to The Farne Islands can be taken - very popular with all visitors to Seahouses. The busy little village has an array of village shops, tea rooms, bars and restaurants. Invigorating coastal walks can be taken right from the door - leave the car behind and enjoy walking to Bamburgh with its magnificent castle. Stop off for afternoon tea in the little tea rooms before heading back to Seahouses.

The lounge in the cottage has solid oak flooring and a wood burning stove with an initial log and kindling supply, full central heating, combi boiler and double glazing making it an ideal choice for a warm and cosy getaway all year round.

There is private, off road parking for one vehicle at the front of the property.

Creel is a lovely cottage in a great location just a short walk from all village amenities. Warm and cosy with a gorgeous master bedroom. Handy for most of the local attractions and places of interest. We hope to return one day ??

Creel Cottage was clean well equipped, Everything we needed was there. It is in a great location, a quiet street, but 2min walk into Seahouses centre and harbour. There are great beaches nearby and other attractions if the weather is bad (and it was!) the best we found was Alnwick Castle that had plenty to do and a whole day with our 10 & 12 year olds was not enough, but you can get a yearly ticket for the same price as a day ticket. As a whole we really enjoyed our visit (1 week) even though the weather tried to spoil it.

Creel cottage is a welcoming and well equipped property. During our stay we visited The Life Centre at Newcastle, shopping at the Metro Centre and the Ocean Cinema, Alnwick Castle, sailed to the Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle and beach, Holy Island, Dunstanburgh Castle, Northumberlandia. The best chip shop in Seahouses was Neptune. The Links was also a nice place to eat.
