Creamery Cottage is a spacious, luxury holiday property for up to 6 guests, which enjoys a superb location in a quiet street a short walk from the centre of the popular market town of Alnwick, not to mention the famous Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Gardens! 

With excellent facilities throughout, this property also offers lots of lovely light and space and is set over 3 floors and with 2 beautifully furnished and generous king size bedrooms with an en-suite to one of these, plus a further, lovely twin bedded room and a stunning family bathroom. The living accommodation downstairs is equally generous with comfortable furniture, a 60-inch plasma TV, free guest Wi-Fi, a modern kitchen and dining area and a small, enclosed patio with a table and chairs for dining and relaxing outdoors.

Staying in the heart of Alnwick, you will have easy access to a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. The quirky and unique 'Barter Books' (famous for the original 'Keep Calm and Carry On' marketing theme and model railway running overhead) is just around the corner and a must visit! - as well as the twice weekly market in the town square and the popular monthly farmer's market. For great eating, you are spoilt for choice and a memorable restaurant 'The Treehouse' restaurant at Alnwick Gardens is well worth a try!

Creamery Cottage is also ideally situated for exploring the whole of the Northumberland AONB (Area of Natural Beauty) both countryside and coastline; including the Northumberland National Park (Dark Skies award), the stunning beach at Alnmouth and the pretty harbour and Dunstanburgh Castle at Craster (both only 15 mins away). Plus, you can visit Seahouses for The Farne Island boat trips, Bamburgh for its beach, Castle and village, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and Beadnell bay for water sports.

For golfers there are plenty of friendly courses open all year round to visitors.

This cottage accepts two well behaved dog. There is an additional charge, please see our terms and conditions (points 17-19) for more details of doggy house rules.

Accommodation Summary:

Entrance is via the rear door. 

Kitchen - Fully equipped, modern kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetiere.

Dining Area - Glass dining table and seating for 6

Lounge - With large 6 seater corner sofa and armchair, coffee table and lamps, 60-inch plasma Blu-ray TV with Freeview and DVD player, sound bar with Bluetooth, Free guest Wi-Fi, i-pod docking station.

Bedroom 1 - King size bed with bedside drawers and lamps, 2 chests of drawers and a flat screen plasma TV

Bedroom 2 - With 2 single beds, bedside tables and lamps and wardrobe.

Family Bathroom - There is a generous bath in the main bathroom with shower over, wash basin with illuminated mirror over, heated towel rail and WC

Second Floor:

Bedroom 3 - With King size bed with bedside drawers and lamps, sliding door wardrobe, stand alone tall mirror, chest of drawers and easy chair.

En-suite shower room - with a walk-in shower, wash basin with illuminated mirror over and WC.

Outside: At the rear and accessed from the kitchen is a small, enclosed patio area with a table and seating for 6.

Parking: for up to 2 cars on the private driveway.

Comfortably and beautifully furnished and clean. Welcome basket for visitors. The bathrooms were very high spec. Nice and tidy with plenty of cupboard space. My son's wedding at the Castle combined a lovely short stay in this cottage which is comfortably well furnished and a short walk to the town centre.

The cottage was perfect for friends or family in a brilliant location for all the the surrounding areas and attractions will definitely be coming back
