I have stayed in this cottage a number of times as it is a luxurious cottage and has fantastic views over coastline. Every detail is thought of from kitchen utensils , comfortable furniture , games and dvds for the children to lovely books for old and young to read Immaculate cottage - spotlessly clean and well equipped. Spectacular sea views from lounge window - even saw dolphins on a few occasions. Crazy golf a must in seahouses for children. You can catch a train from Berwick into Edinburgh which takes 40 minutes and then ride the trams in the city. Pot a doodle ceramics in scremerston another enjoyable activity to do with children where they can paint or glaze their own chosen piece of ceramic -ideal place if weather not so good with a lovely little tea room attached.

Superb position Superb cottage. Our 3rd stay always very clean. The cottage has everything you could want even some brolley's just in case of bad weather. Has a good TV but could not tell you if it worked as the view out of the window is just fantastic. If you want to stay in Seahouses This is a must. Would and have recommended this cottage. Coastguard watch is a fantastic cottage with probably the best view in Seahouses, overlooking the harbour, Farne Islands, Bamburgh castle, the beach and even Holy Island. You do not need to go anywhere with that view, but if you do the walk to Bamburgh on the beach 3 miles is lovely with a fantastic sandwich shop in the village. Beadnell 1 mile the other direction is also a lovely walk along the. Each with our local favourite the Craster Arms there, the fish is huge and the pie is also superb, best to try and book at busy times. We also had a lovely walk to Newton by the Sea and eat at the Joiners Arms, wow the food is amazing goats cheese and portobello mushroom starter and sea bream main could not fault food or service good choice of drinks on offer as well. Another good walk is to Craster from Seahouses past Dunstanburgh castle although a lengthy round trip of about 14 miles a lot of flat walking on beach and grass makes it seem a lot less.
