Situated in Seahouses village, Cheviot Cottage is only a short walk from the shops, harbour and beach. The cottage has lots of character and charm and with an open fire in the lounge, as well as electric heating throughout, is ideal for a break all year round. This charming and cosy end of terrace, stone built cottage was formerly 'The Badger' pub in the 1800s and still retains much of its original character today, including original wooden beams and fireplaces. The cottage has a cosy feel and the accommodation is deceptively large. The property benefits from off-street parking for one car. The main street of Seahouses is just a  few  moments away the cottage where you can find a wide variety of shops, friendly pubs and restaurants.

If you want to explore the fabulous sights of Northumberland Cheviot Cottage is the perferct base. You can catch one of the many boat trips to the Farne Islands or take a drive along the beautiful coast to explore Bamburgh, Holy Island, Beadnell, Craster and Low Newton. For castle lovers why not visit Alnwick Castle or Bamburgh Castle.

This cottage welcomes up to 2 well-behaved dogs at no extra charge*. Please call us on 0191 231 3020 to make your booking so that we can waive the automatic online dog charge. For dog owners, please see our terms and conditions (points 17-19) for more details of doggy house rules.

The cottage was in an ideal location, Seahouses itself has everything you need & it's all right on your doorstep. The local beach was amazing, we spent a lot of time there, great for children & dogs, mine both thoroughly enjoyed their time there. We would highly recommend both Cheviot cottage & Seahouses.

We enjoyed our stay at Cheviot Cottage in Seahouses. It was very clean and good interior design. Enough room for the 4 of us. The kitchen was small but well equipped. Close to walk into Seahouses centre and a 10 minute walk to the beach. A very detailed information folder was provided. We love Northumberland and would recommend this area to everyone.
