Bamburgh Castle and its beautiful, traditional village is a lovely walk from Seahouses or a short drive and walking the other way, you will come to the crescent shaped bay of neighbouring Beadnell village, where you can watch the water sports and have a picnic in the dunes or have a meal in one of the dog friendly pub restaurants. A short drive north from Bamburgh, you can cross the causeway at low tide and visit Holy Island, with its historic Priory and fabulous views of the mainland - while you are there, don't forget to sample some tasty Lindisfarne Mead.

A very welcoming cottage. Very clean property and best of all No Dogs. Plenty of linen available and a welcome tray that had a selection of goodies The milk and fruit juice was a lovely touch. Bradacar has all that you would want in a holiday home. It has parking outside the property which is on a modern estate comfortable chairs. A home from home. A lovely cottage within easy reach of "The Roman Wall" and Alnwick Castle and Gardens. A place not to miss is Barter Books in Alnwick. Park in Castle car park and walk up the hill. A must do is the Sunset Boat Trip it goes around the Farne Islands and back to Seahouses. bring a camera and try a get a photo of the seals a very enjoyable trip.

Beautifully clean, lovely food hamper. Cooked at home most days, well equipped kitchen. Easy to use website Good price Fantastic location. Our first visit to Northumberland, what a brilliant place! Something for everyone (we travelled with 3 children under 10 years old). Bradacar Cottage was perfect for us, spacious and well equipped. Loved Alnwick Gardens and Edinburgh Zoo, and of course the beautiful local beaches. Definitely recommend, hope to visit again.
