Whilst this cottage was comfortable in many respects. The owner left a welcome pack of bread, biscuits and eggs which was lovely. The location was spot on as there are so many beaches, castles and National Trust properties within easy reach. The Two and a half hour trip to the Grace Darling lighthouse was very enjoyable as seals and birds everywhere.

We have just had a lovely in this cute cosy fisherman's cottage, very close to many attractions - mainly, for us, coastal walking. We also enjoyed visiting nearby Cragside National Trust property. Lots of places of interest close by, many castles, gardens and lovely villages and towns. Particularly liked Alnwick and Warkworth. We ate one evening next door at The cottage Inn. Very reasonable and large portions. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would thoroughly recommend staying at Beech Cottage.
