The beach is within easy walking distance from the cottage and you can relax in the dunes, watch the many water sports taking place all year round or simply enjoy a stroll along this stunning stretch of coastline.

N.B. There is a sister cottage next door called 'Seashells' which also sleeps up to 8 in 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and these two properties together would make an excellent choice for larger groups and familes.

We had a lovely stay in April which is in a great location. Very well equipped holiday home. Plenty of space for family of four and dog. Great being in the village and short work to Craster Arms - great pub. Love Beadnell Bay - brilliant fun for the dog and children on the beach and dunes.

We had a lovely time in April cottage. Great position, a short walk to the harbour and beach at Beadnell. It was perfect for exploring Northumberland and the cottage was very cosy

April Cottage was in a great location for easy access to the beach as well as a good base for exploring the local area. Alnwick Castle in the school summer holidays had lots of activities for children providing a great day out at very reasonable cost. Another good find was Andy Howey's Bird of Prey Centre at Haggerston Castle - lovely family friendly atmosphere with brilliant staff.
