We loved it here, a very warm and welcoming cottage. Welcome basket fantastic and a lovely touch with our chalkboard message too. 5 adults and two dogs had an amazing stay. Stunning views from gorgeous country kitchen. Comfortable and cosy lounge with warming log burner which was the evening hub with a glass of prosecco/wine, what's not to love. Games room was put to use with family challenges and laughs all round. Bedrooms and bathrooms had a hotel feel with excellent layout for our party. We have booked for 2018 already!

Stayed for 3 nights with hubby and dog, what a fabulous place! Well laid out kitchen, so so clean, all mod cons, great shower room downstairs, and lovely en-suite with bath to the master bedroom. Views across to Lindisfarne to die for! Secure pretty garden for parking and dogs, delighted to see the Spotted Woodpecker visit the bird table. Cosy lounge with wood burning stove, plenty of hot water, quality bedding and towels. Very short drive into the old coaching village of Belford, with great pubs, Co-op, shops, and walks, 5 mins drive from the A1, approx 10 mins to Bamburgh with the great beaches and castle. Short hop up the A1 to Berwick, and gentle drive with awesome views into the Cheviots. We stay in this area 4 times a year and this place is just amazing, and takes some beating, others struggle to reach this high standard. Thanks Pam for the warn welcome and lovely welcome pack, much appreciated. Looking forward to our second visit.

April Cottage is amazing. It is a very well thought out property, maintained and designed to a high spec with a personal touch. As per other reviews, the appliances and furniture are high end. Bamburgh is 10 mins away, and Holy Island the same (both worth visiting). The cottage has a games room in the garden which the kids loved. Being in a rural coastal location and in the absence of any light pollution, on a clear night the stars look stunning! The area is well worth a visit and I would highly recommend April Cottage. We will be going back.
