If you’re searching for self catering holiday cottages, Seahouses is full of them. The Old Bakery is set over two floors, in a courtyard of terraced cottages - with the bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, and the kitchen and living area upstairs. For larger parties, there’s also the option to sleep 2 extra guests on a sofa bed in the living room.

One of our many cosy Seahouses cottages, The Old Bakery is immaculate throughout - with one double bedroom, modern kitchen, spacious living room and well-appointed bathroom. On top of that, you’ll also have the chance to enjoy the convenience of the property’s balcony area and an allocated, off-road parking space.

In Seahouses, accommodation comes with the added bonus of convenience - giving guests an ideal base for exploring the magnificent county of Northumberland. Beadnell is just a 5-minute drive away, where you’ll find a beautiful, crescent-shaped beach offering a range of exciting watersports options as well as a relaxing beach to walk and picnic on! Also nearby, you’ll find Bamburgh - an incredibly popular and pretty village, home to the iconic Castle dominationg the local landscape, its golden sandy beach, the award-winning 'Copper Kettle' Tearooms, the famous Grace Darling Museum and some great shops and restaurants. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne and other seaside villages such as Low Newton by-the-sea and Craster are also close by

Further inland, you can catch a glimpse of the world-famous Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Gardens which are well worth a visit. Chillingham Castle is brimming with ghostly tales, as well as being home to the Chillingham wild cattle. The Cheviot Hills are also within easy reach and offer some truly unique walking opportunities.

Very happy with the facilities and cleanliness - nice welcome biscuits too. Cottage was clean, well fitted out and comfortable. Very handy location and near to shops. Walking in the area was great and the bus service that runs along the coast was very handy.

Well appointed with some nice homely touches. Everything spotless, it had all that we needed. Well appointed cottage in a good central location. Enjoyed visiting castles and historic sites, particularly Chillingham.
