We always enjoy our holiday here. The cottage has the best position in the whole of Northumberland! The cottage itself wants for nothing- beautifully furnished. Meals at The Ship are a must-you always get a warm welcome. Some of our favourite walks are to Football Hole, of course the walk to Craster from Low Newton and along the beach at Sugar Sands to Boulmer stopping for lunch at the pub there. Our two dogs also like a trip to Thrunton Woods which is particularly good if the weather is misty on the coast or cold and showery.

Great location... home from home, every comfort there, very clean, spotless, and every thing thought of, dishwasher tablets etc. We visited Bamburgh castle, Barter Books in Alnwick and had crab soup at the Jolly Fisherman's, in Craster
