The cottage is located in a quiet, street just a short stroll to the heart of Seahouses village - with a cosy, open fire to add to the atmosphere, plenty of off-road parking, plus an enclosed rear garden and lots of modern facilities, including free guest Wi-Fi. The owners of 1, Beechcroft have taken great care with the furnishings and the property has been finished to a very high standard.
Bamburgh Castle and its wonderful village, with a wide range of excellent restaurants and independent shops is just a short drive or walk along the coastal path to the north and to the south lies beautiful Beadnell Bay with its stunning, golden beach, best known as the base for a variety of water sporting activities year round and the friendly pub/restaurants. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne and Alnwick Castle and market town are also both within easy reach by car.
1, Beechcroft would suit a family or group of friends who enjoy visiting the seaside, seeing the sights and local attractions, as well as diving, surfing, cycling etc. - and all from an ideal, central base! There is a clean garage ideal for storing bikes, walking gear, equipment and drying off wet suits and diving gear.
Outside: There is ample room to park up to 3 cars at 1 Beechcroft – two on the driveway and one in front of the cottage. The front garden is landscaped with blue slate and there is a ‘Jack and Jill’ seat to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The enclosed, rear garden is attractively presented and private with outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ for guests’ use. There is a gate to the garage and driveway from this garden.
Bed linen, towels, hot water, electricity and heating are included.

Lounge: With 2 two-seater sofas and matching armchairs, coffee table, occasional table with lamp, a 44 inch Plasma TV, DVD player, i-pod docking station, free Wi-Fi, an open fire (the fire uses coal and logs - a generous initial supply of logs and/or coal is provided for your arrival. Please note that you will need to buy additional supplies locally).
Kitchen/Dining area: Dining table with seating for 5. Electric oven and hob, microwave, 4-slice toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine, cafetiere, dishwasher, washing machine, under counter fridge and small bench top freezer. There is plenty of crockery and storage space for your own supplies too.
Bedroom 1: Master Bedroom with King size bed, bedside drawers and lamps, wardrobe with additional drawers and a full length mirror, dressing table with drawers, mirror and stool.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds with a bedside cabinet and lamp, wardrobe and chest of drawers, small dressing table with large mirror above and chair.
Bedroom 3: Single bed, bedside lamp and wardrobe.
Bathroom: Family bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and wc.
For Parents: There is a travel cot and high chair available plus a trainer toilet seat and a stair gate fixed at top of stairs.

Seahouses is one of the nicest spots in the whole of the U.K. And we travel from Coventry and wouldn't stay anywhere else over Xmas.

Everything you need inside and out, including parking space - great location too. Very clean and spotless. We've already stayed here twice.
