If you are looking for a high standard of self catering holiday accommodation in the Bamburgh area in a peaceful setting, surrounded by truly stunning scenery as a base for some great days out during your holiday n Northumberland, then Woodpecker Mill will be an excellent choice for you, your family and friends. This beautifully appointed, stone built cottage in the parish of Chatton sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 good size bedrooms with two bath/shower rooms and tasteful furnishings throughout. There are plenty of modern facilities to make your stay even more enjoyable, as well as an enclosed garden for al fresco dining, off road parking and free guests Wi-Fi.

Shops, pubs serving food, a Co-Op and Farm shop with a superb play area are a 10 minute drive away in Belford and Holy Island and the end of the St. Cuthbert's Way walk is just a half hour's drive. Bamburgh and its magnificent castle, village and glorious beaches is a scenic 20 -25 minute drive from where you can easily reach Seahouses, for the Farne Islands, Beadnell Bay for the watersports and picnics in the dunes and the many other seaside villages on the Northumberland coast.

Woodpecker Cottage would also be ideal for walkers, mountain bikers and cyclists. 

Bed linen, towels, heating and hot water are included.

Accommodation

Downstairs

Entrance hallway with hooks for coats and plenty of space for shoes and boots with cloakroom.

WC/utility room: WC, washing machine.
Kitchen/Dining Room: Table and seating for 6, dual fuel range style cooker oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetiere. French doors and two steps lead to lounge.
Lounge: Sofas and armchairs, wood burning stove (initial supply of logs provided).Flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD, CD player and Wi-Fi.French doors lead out into the garden.
Bedroom 1: Off the hallway with King size bed, bedside drawers and lamps, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Ensuite shower room: Walk in shower, WC and wash basin.

Upstairs

Bedroom 2: King size bed, bedside drawers and lamps, two double wardrobes and a chest of drawers, exposed beams.
Bedroom 3: Two single beds, chest of drawers and bedside lamps. There is also a standard size cot for parents of little ones in this room.
Family Bathroom: Shower over bath, heated towel rail, WC and basin.


Outside 

There is parking for 2 cars and outside sitting areas. Access can be gained via the rear garden for people with reduced mobility.

Bed linen, towels, heating and abundant hot water is included.

Woodpecker Mill is a delight to stay in and we would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to experience this beautiful region. The property is tastefully decorated with high quality furnishings. The beds are really comfortable and ensure a very good night's sleep. The kitchen is very well equipped with a marvelous cooker. The property is lovely and warm and a treat to come back to after some long days exploring the beautiful countryside and towns. ( Wallington Hall, Farne Islands, Lindisfarne, Alnwick and Barter Books, Dunstanburgh castle.) The welcome pack and fresh flowers were very much appreciated and our Cocker Spaniel, loved the treats left for him too.

Well equipped with lots of space. Lovely clean cottage. Bamburgh beach is fantastic, a visit to Craster is well worth the drive.
